Lessons can come from the strangest places
So, I'm not a huge fan of comedies on TV....actually, I don't watch a lot of TV in general but one of my favourite shows wrapped up 8 incredible seasons yesterday. How I Met Your Mother was a reliable escape into the ridiculous and absurd but throughout it all I would find myself thinking "yeah, I can see how that could happen". In any case, for those who didn't watch it, the basic premise is that a middle age man is telling his kids a series of stories of how he met their mother...duh. The poor guy goes through eight years of dating hell to finally land the girl of his dreams.
Besides not being a huge TV person, I'm also not a very mushy person but this list came across my social media feed today and it simply had to be shared.
